What kinds of houses did the ute Indians live in?

There is no such tribe as the ute Indians. The correct name is Ute. The Ute people are Native Americans who have historically lived in the Great Basin, Colorado Plateau, and Rocky Mountains regions of the western United States. Their traditional homes were tipis, which are cone-shaped tents made of animal skins or bark. Tipis were well-suited for the Ute lifestyle, as they were easy to transport and could be quickly set up or taken down.
