Did ancient egyptians have street addresses?

Ancient Egyptians did not have street addresses as we know them today. Instead, they used a system of toponyms, or place names, to identify locations. These toponyms could refer to natural features, such as rivers or mountains, or to man-made structures, such as temples or palaces. For example, the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes was located on the east bank of the Nile River, and was known by the toponym "Waset".
