Was meroitic translated by the rosseta stone?

The Meroitic language was not translated by the Rosetta Stone. The Rosetta Stone was a stele inscribed with three versions of a decree issued in Memphis, Egypt, in 196 BC during the reign of Ptolemy V Epiphanes. The three versions are in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, Demotic script, and Ancient Greek. The Rosetta Stone was instrumental in the decipherment of Egyptian hieroglyphs, but it had nothing to do with the Meroitic language.
