Where did woven fabric come from?

Woven fabric can trace its origins back some 34,000 years and was first practiced by hunter-gatherers of the Paleolithic Era. Woven textile fragments dated as far back as this era were first revealed from an excavation of the Dolní Věstonice archaeological site in what is today the Czech Republic in 1926 as well as the Ohalo II excavations in Israel circa 1989 to present. Early fibers used came from plants, mainly flax.
