What happen to land of ismarus in Odyssey?

The land of Ismarus in Odyssey is the home of the Cicones, a Thracian tribe. When Odysseus and his men land there during their voyage back home from Troy, the Cicones attack and kill six men from each ship, including Odysseus's helmsman. The Greeks then raid the city and take women and treasure, but a strong wind prevents them from sailing away, allowing the Cicones to return and attack them. Many more Greeks are killed, and the survivors are forced to flee.
