The goals of the separatists who settled in Plymouth 1620?

The Pilgrims

A Separatist group left England for religious freedom. This group wanted to separate from the Church of England and form their church. They sailed on the Mayflower to Plymouth in 1620.

The goals of the Pilgrims were:

- To establish their colony so they could worship freely.

- To convert Native Americans to Christianity.

- To establish a successful and prosperous colony that would be a model for other colonies.
