What were the first coins issued by US mint?

The first coins issued by the United States Mint were silver half dimes, dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollars, and gold quarter eagles, half eagles and eagles. They were authorized by the Coinage Act of 1792, which established the Mint and set standards for the weight, fineness and size of U.S. coins. The Mint began producing these coins in 1793.
