What year did first black slaves were brought to Jamestown?

The first documented arrival of African slaves in the English colony of Jamestown, Virginia, occurred in 1619. A Dutch ship named the White Lion, captained by John Rolfe, arrived in the colony with a group of 20 Africans who had been captured from a Portuguese slave ship. These Africans were the first group of enslaved Africans to arrive in the British colonies in North America.
