Did kids get to go school in 1900s?

Yes, children did go to school in the 1900s. In fact, by the early 20th century, most Western countries had mandatory school attendance laws in place, requiring children to attend school for a certain number of years. In the United States, for example, all children were required to attend school until the age of 16 by 1918.

However, the quality of education and the educational opportunities available to children varied widely in the 1900s. In many industrialized countries, education was highly stratified, with separate schools for the wealthy and the working class. In developing countries, educational opportunities were often limited or non-existent for much of the population. Nevertheless, the early 20th century saw significant progress in expanding access to education for children around the world, and the foundations for the widespread availability of primary and secondary education today were laid during this time period.
