Tutankhamun, also known as King Tut, ruled Egypt as pharaoh for approximately ten years during the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egypt from 1332 to 1323 BC. His short reign took place during a crucial period of Egyptian history, marked by religious and political changes initiated by his predecessor, Akhenaten.
