Do bishops go into the house of lords?

In the United Kingdom, there are 26 Anglican bishops who sit in the House of Lords as Lords Spiritual. The Lords Spiritual consist of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, 21 diocesan bishops (of London, Durham, and Winchester, plus the longest-serving diocesan bishops), and an additional bishop chosen from one of the Church of England's other dioceses in rotation. The Lords Spiritual sit as ecclesiastical peers along with the Lords Temporal, who are hereditary peers, life peers, and former judges.
