One of the craziest ideas born of the creation of the airplane was that of a flying aircraft carrier. A few years later, in 1941, floating aircraft carriers first demonstrated their power at Pearl Harbor. The war in the Pacific was the "school" of aircraft carriers and aeronautical operations. Fatefully, then, the idea of flying aircraft carriers came back.
