The nose of the Sphinx

The mystery of the author of the destruction of the nose of the Sphinx still remains unsolved .
Contrary to popular belief, the nose of the Sphinx it was not destroyed in the Napoleonic era, but much earlier, in 1378 , the work of an Islamic cleric, Sa'im al-Dahr , who was lynched immediately after the fact for acts of vandalism.
