Battle of Austerlitz

The Battle of Austerlitz was a conflict between the Napoleonic army and the armies of Russia and Austria, in December 1805. These countries together with England were part of the anti-Napoleonic alliance, they planned to wage war against France to prevent French advances, which changed on December 2, when Napoleon organized a trap that consisted of moving his army from the right flank so that the enemies would believe that it remained abandoned.

About seven thousand men moved from Vienna to the right flank to protect it, which caused astonishment in the enemy army, which ended up being stopped and fought. In the same period, Napoleon defeated Austria which signed a peace treaty with France, as it found itself weakened and unable to continue the war.

At Zuran, the Russian army was divided and fought by Napoleon, who moved south, causing the Russians to try to escape across Lake Satschan, but were attacked by the Napoleonic army, who fired on the ice causing the Russians to fall into the water. In Pratzen, the Russian and Austrian army fled at the sight of the Napoleonic army.
