For five years we have been demonstrating that we are little of Black Friday and much to lend a hand. A help that, in recent times, is needed more than ever. Since March 2020, the serious food crisis caused by Covid 19 has increased the demand for food by more than 40%. The Great Food Drive It is more necessary than ever to alleviate the food deficiencies of society. That is why, as in previous years around this time, we propose an alternative Black Friday:the V Human Friday against hunger .
10% of the amount of all purchases made in our online store between Thursday 25 and Sunday 28 November will go to support the Great Food Collection 2021 , which in previous years has placed Spain at the head of the map of solidarity in Europe.
The amount obtained at the end of this initiative will be used to purchase food that will be delivered to social entities, such as residences for the elderly, soup kitchens, foster homes and centers that they distribute lots through the Food Bank of Madrid. CAMPAIGN ENDED
For every €10 we will be helping with 10.5 kg of food, including:
- 2 packs of pasta
- 1 container of sugar
- 2 fried tomato brik
- 2 cans of canned fish
- 1 carton of milk
Similarly, €5 will be converted into 3.7 kg of food and €25 into 29.7 kg of non-perishable food with the same characteristics as those indicated. Throughout the V Human Friday 2021 campaign we will be able to see the progress of sales and customers to know the amount that will be donated to the Spanish Federation of Food Banks.
