With his passion for supporting cultural projects in the field of human paleontology and archaeology, Palarq Foundation promotes a series of informative videos on its YouTube channel hand in hand with the youtubers cultural JJ Priego and the Pakozoic.
JJ Priego, cultural promoter through his channel Historias de la Historia and Francesc Gascó, "El Pakozoico", paleontologist and science communicator, are the people chosen by the Palarq Foundation to speak every week about archeology and paleontology .
Through 2 weekly videos plus a live interview via Twitch with the leading researchers of these fields in our country. Spanish researchers work all over the world and currently, and with the support of the Palarq Foundation, they are present in 30 countries, covering our entire planet from Peru to the Western Pacific, passing through Morocco, Egypt or Eritrea.
This initiative aims to make these matters available to all audiences , both the specialist and those interested in learning more about where we come from in order to understand where we are going as a species.
This is not the only initiative carried out by the Foundation
This series of videos on YouTube joins the other outreach initiatives carried out by the Palarq Foundation such as collecting daily on its website and social networks the most relevant news in the sector at a national and international level or the masterclasses in human paleontology and archaeology. This initiative, allowed during confinement and the state of alarm caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, to put the most important researchers of the projects it supports in contact with the general public, through the daily publication of a masterclass series in video format.
With the name "Everything you wanted to know about human evolution", the campaign of the Palarq Foundation and doctor Eudald Carbonell aims to resolve the doubts and challenges posed by our evolution , as well as disseminating this important discipline for the knowledge of the past and the future.
