Where is the balkans?

The Balkans or Balkan Peninsula is a region in Southeastern Europe. Geographically, it is situated between the Adriatic and the Black Sea and lies south of the Danube and Sava Rivers. The Balkan Peninsula is often defined as comprising Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and the European part of Turkey.
