How long did it take Britain to rebuild after world war 2?

Britain took around two decades to physically rebuild after World War II. The reconstruction effort began almost immediately after the end of the war in 1945, and continued until the mid-1960s when most of the war-ravaged cities and towns had been rebuilt and restored. It is important to note that Britain's recovery also involved addressing social, economic, and political consequences of the war, a long-term process extending many years beyond the physical reconstruction.
