Did the Germans win World War 1?

The Germans did not win World War I. The war ended on 11 November 1918 with the signing of an armistice between the Allies (primarily France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Japan and the United States) and Germany. The armistice took effect at 11:00 AM, and fighting ceased on all fronts. The war had lasted for four years and had claimed the lives of millions of people.
