What was the Trizonia conference?

Trizonia conference, an Allied conference held at Stuttgart, West Germany, June 8, 1949–July 9, 1949, to deal with financial and governmental relations in the American, British, and French zones. The London occupation statute for West Germany was drawn up and approved along with the creation of an elected West German legislature and a West German council consisting of the prime ministers of the West German states under Allied supervision.
