Who was the first biracial person in media?

The first biracial person in media is James Augustine Healy. He was of African-American and Irish-American descent and was the first African-American bishop of the Catholic Church in the United States. He was born on April 6, 1830, in Macon, Georgia, and was the son of an Irish planter and an enslaved African-American woman. He was educated at Georgetown College in Washington, D.C., and was ordained a priest in 1854. He served as a missionary to the African-American community in Savannah, Georgia, before becoming the bishop of Portland, Maine, in 1875. He died on August 5, 1900.
