Was martin Luther the renesance considered a rebel?

Martin Luther is generally not considered a figure of the Renaissance, but rather of the Reformation. He is best known for his 95 Theses, which criticized abuses in the Catholic Church and sparked the Protestant Reformation. Luther was a religious reformer who lived in the 16th century, while the Renaissance was a cultural movement that took place from the 14th to the 17th century. While the Renaissance was characterized by a renewed interest in classical learning, art, and science, Luther's focus was on religious reform. He was certainly a rebel in the sense that he challenged the authority of the Catholic Church, but not in the context of the Renaissance.
