How did the soviets plan to settle polish question?

The Soviet Union planned to settle the Polish question through a combination of military occupation and political manipulation.

Military occupation: The Soviet Union invaded Poland in September 1939, and quickly occupied the entire country. The Soviet occupation forces were brutal, and they carried out mass arrests, deportations, and executions of Polish citizens.

Political manipulation: The Soviet Union also sought to control Poland through political manipulation. They installed a puppet government in Poland, which was loyal to the Soviet Union. This government was known as the Polish Committee of National Liberation (PKWN). The PKWN was responsible for carrying out Soviet policies in Poland, and it played a key role in suppressing Polish resistance to Soviet occupation.

The Soviet Union's plans for Poland were ultimately successful. They were able to maintain control of the country for over 40 years, until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
