Are there any current events going on today like the Holocaust?

There is currently no event that can compare to the scale of the genocide seen in the Holocaust, where there was a deliberate and systematic extermination of a specific group people (in this case, primarily the European Jews as well as other minorities) at the hands of Adolf Hitler's Nazi state during World War II. It was an extreme case of discrimination, persecution, and mass murder.
