Name the large peninsula at southwest corner of Europe?

The Iberian Peninsula, also called the Iberian Plateau or the Iberia, is the large peninsula at the southwestern corner of Europe, with an area of 583,254 square kilometers (225,199 sq mi). It separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean Sea. The peninsula is mostly in Spain and Portugal, but also includes parts of Andorra, Gibraltar and the French departments of Pyrénées-Orientales and Haute-Garonne. The peninsula's name comes from the ancient name for the area, Iberia.
