History of South America

Where is US silver minted?

The United States Mint has three minting facilities: the Philadelphia Mint, the Denver Mint, and the San Francisco Mint. All three mints produce circulating coins, as well as commemorative coins and medals. The Philadelphia Mint is the oldest and largest of the three mints, and is responsible for producing the majority of the nation's coins. The Denver Mint produces coins for the Western United States, while the San Francisco Mint produces coins for the Western United States and the Pacific Rim countries.
