What happens when Iraqi People Come to America?

When Iraqi people come to America, they often face a number of challenges, including:

- Culture Shock: Adjusting to a new culture and way of life can be disorienting and stressful.

- Language Barriers: Many Iraqi people do not speak English, which can make it difficult to communicate and access services.

- Employment Discrimination: Iraqi people often face discrimination in employment, making it difficult to find jobs that pay a living wage.

- Housing Discrimination: Iraqi people may also experience housing discrimination, making it difficult to find safe and affordable housing.

- Social Isolation: Iraqi people may also feel socially isolated, due to language barriers and cultural differences.

- Lack of Access to Services: Iraqi people may also have difficulty accessing services such as healthcare, education, and mental health care.

Despite these challenges, many Iraqi people are able to successfully resettle in the United States. They learn English, find jobs, and build new lives for themselves and their families. They also contribute to American society in many ways, including through their cultural diversity, their entrepreneurial spirit, and their commitment to hard work.
