History of South America

Where is sugar cane grown in the US?

Sugar cane is primarily grown in the southern United States, specifically in the states of Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Hawaii. Louisiana is the largest producer of sugar cane in the US, followed by Florida and Texas. These states have a warm climate and adequate rainfall, making them ideal for cultivating this tropical crop. Hawaii, being a tropical state, also has a favorable environment for sugar cane production.
