How did Warren G. Harding promote stability in world affairs?

Warren G. Harding did not do much to promote stability in world affairs. His administration was focused on domestic issues, and he only made limited efforts to engage in international diplomacy. The most notable exception was the Washington Naval Conference of 1921-1922, which resulted in several agreements aimed at reducing naval armaments among the major powers. However, even this effort was somewhat limited in scope and did not have a major impact on global stability.
