What was kublai khans real name?

Kublai Khan was born with the name Temür, which means "iron" in Mongolian. He was given the title of Kublai Khan in 1260 when he became the fifth Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, succeeding his brother Möngke Khan. The name "Kublai" is derived from the Turkic word "qublai", which means "great". Kublai Khan's full name was therefore Temür Kublai Khan.
