What did shays rebellion make clear to the states?

Shay's Rebellion made it clear to the states that they needed a stronger central government. The rebellion was a result of the economic problems that the states were facing after the Revolutionary War. Many farmers were in debt and were facing foreclosure. They were also angry about the high taxes that were being imposed by the states. Shays' Rebellion showed that the states were not able to control these problems on their own. They needed a stronger central government to help them solve these problems.
