What was Frederick McKinley accomplishments?

Frederick McKinley Jones (May 17, 1922–February 26, 1968) was an American engineer and surveyor. He was known by some as the real father of the portable refrigerated container.

Jones received multiple honors for his work. He was awarded over 60 U.S. patents for his refrigeration and air-conditioning innovations, and he received three honorary doctorates.[2] He received three honorary doctorates during his lifetime, one of the first African-Americans to receive one from the University of Minnesota.[3] and became the first black member of the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers.
