When was the first bill ever made?

There is no single "first bill" that can be definitively identified, as various forms of currency have been used throughout history in different parts of the world. However, one of the earliest known examples of a bill-like instrument is the Chinese jiaozi, which originated during the Tang Dynasty in the 7th century AD. These were official government-issued notes that were used for trade and were backed by the government's reserves.
