Where is the us coal belt?

The Appalachian Coal Belt is a region in the eastern United States that is known for its abundance of coal. It stretches from Alabama in the south to Pennsylvania in the north, and encompasses parts of several states including West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, and Ohio.
