What part of the US did Lewis and Clark explored?

Lewis and Clark explored the Louisiana Purchase, a vast territory that was acquired by the United States from France in 1803. This area included the present-day states of Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, as well as parts of Texas and New Mexico. The expedition also explored the Pacific Northwest and parts of western Canada.
