History of North America

Why would a larger population mean that it be easier for the north to win war?

It is not necessarily true that a larger population means it would be easier for the North to win the war. While population size can be a factor in warfare, other factors such as military strength, technology, and geography can also play a significant role in determining the outcome of a war.

For example, during the American Civil War, the North had a larger population than the South, but the South had certain advantages in terms of military leadership and strategy. Additionally, the Southern states were fighting on their home turf, which gave them a geographical advantage. As a result, the war was not easily won by the North despite its larger population.
