Did sodiers ever sleep during the vimy ridge battle?

During the Vimy Ridge battle, soldiers on both sides experienced periods of sleep deprivation due to the intense and exhausting nature of combat, as well as being exposed to harsh conditions and the constant risk of enemy attacks. Sleeping accommodations at the time were often limited, and soldiers might take turns sleeping in short intervals while others remained on guard. Truces and temporary ceasefires sometimes allowed soldiers to get some sleep before going back into combat. Nevertheless, the psychological stress of war, constant artillery barrages, and harsh weather conditions often made it difficult for soldiers to get quality rest.
