What is Scotlands flag?

The Saltire, also known as the Saint Andrew's Cross, is the flag of Scotland. It is a white saltire on a blue field. The saltire is a diagonal cross, formed by two white bands that cross each other at right angles. The flag is said to have been first used by King Óengus I of the Picts in the 8th century, and it has been used as the national flag of Scotland ever since. The Saltire is also used as a symbol of Scotland in other contexts, such as on the Scottish coat of arms and on the Scottish pound.
