Did China execute people in the 1900s?

Yes. China did execute people in the 1900s. The most notable example is the execution of the last Emperor of China, Puyi, in 1967. Puyi was executed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after he was captured during the Cultural Revolution. Other notable executions in the 1900s included the execution of the Chinese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek in 1975 and the execution of the Chinese Communist Party leader Mao Zedong in 1976.
