How long did it take to get from Rome china during the silk road?

There was no direct Silk Road route from Rome to China. The Silk Road was a network of trade routes that connected the East and the West, but it did not extend all the way to Rome. The main routes of the Silk Road ran from Chang'an (modern Xi'an) in China to Antioch in Syria. From Antioch, goods could be transported by sea to Rome, but this journey would have taken several months.
