Between 1795 and 1800 AD, there were revolts in Panchet and other areas, from 1771 onwards the people of Munda and Urao tribes in Palamu and Chota Nagpur region also opposed British rule. In 1797 AD, the rebels of Tamad also supported. In the year 1819-20 AD, under the leadership of Rudan and Kanta, the Munda people of Tamar revolted. After several months of struggle and military action, these people came under the grip of the British government.
