Was the Boston Harbor closed by British during Tea Party?

Yes, the British did indeed close the Boston Harbor during the Tea Party. As a punishment for the Tea Party incident in December 1773, the British passed the Boston Port Act, which was a series of punitive laws known as the Coercive Acts. The act closed the Boston Harbor to all trade, except for those transporting food and firewood, until the East India Company was compensated for the destroyed tea.
