Why Herbert approach to ending the Great Depression successful?

There is no evidence to support the idea that Herbert Hoover's approach to ending the Great Depression was successful. In fact, his policies are often blamed for prolonging the Depression and making it worse. Hoover's policies were based on the idea that the economy would eventually recover on its own, and he opposed government intervention in the economy. This approach did not work, and the Great Depression continued to grow worse until Franklin Roosevelt was elected president in 1932 and began implementing the New Deal.
