Historical story

What are Odysseus tragic flaws?

Pride: Odysseus's pride often gets in the way of his good judgment. For example, he boasts to the Cyclops Polyphemus about his name, which angers Polyphemus and leads to Odysseus and his men being trapped in the Cyclops's cave.

Curiosity: Odysseus's curiosity often gets him into trouble. For example, he insists on going to the Underworld to consult the prophet Tiresias, even though he knows it is a dangerous journey.

Impatience: Odysseus's impatience sometimes prevents him from thinking things through carefully. For example, he impatiently rushes to open the bag of winds that Aeolus has given him, which causes a storm that blows him off course.
