What is the theme of Twelfth Night?

Twelfth Night explores several themes, including love, disguise, and deception. Characters in the play employ various disguises and deceptions to achieve their means. For example, Viola disguises herself as a man named Cesario to serve Duke Orsino. The play also contains mistaken identities, such as when Malvolio mistakes Olivia's letter as a love note to him.
