When was the battle at fredricksburg?

The Battle of Fredericksburg took place on December 11–15, 1862, in Stafford County, Virginia, between the Union Army of the Potomac, commanded by Major General Ambrose Burnside, and the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia, commanded by General Robert E. Lee. The battle was a disastrous defeat for the Union, with over 12,000 casualties, and is considered one of the most one-sided battles of the Civil War.
