Elizabeth Cady Stanton, along with Lucretia Mott, arranged the first women's rights convention in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York. The convention focused on discussing women's suffrage, political rights, property rights, employment opportunities, education, and other important topics related to women's status in society. Stanton and Mott wanted to create a platform where women could come together and express their concerns and demands for equal rights and opportunities.
