Historical story

How much is the 1945 pure silver qaurter worth?

The 1945 silver quarter is composed of an alloy primarily consisting of copper with only 25%, or one quarter, silver content; hence the name "quarter". In today's market the intrinsic silver contained in this quarter alone is worth slightly less than 4 US dollars. Some collectors might also be willing to pay a slight premium over the base bullion value depending on rarity or if the collector finds a 1945 in exceptional condition.
