Historical story

Was Santa Claus one of the vikings?

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, or Kris Kringle, is derived from the historical saint Nicholas of Myra. He was a 4th-century bishop from the city of Myra in present-day Turkey.

Vikings were a group of seafaring people from Scandinavia (present-day Denmark, Norway, and Sweden) who lived during the Viking Age, which lasted from the 8th to the 11th centuries.

Therefore, Santa Claus was not one of the vikings.
