Historical story

Is there a black hand gang around today?

The Black Hand (Italian Mano Nera) was an Italian-American criminal society centered around the Black Hand, an extortion racket wherein a hidden hand drawn with red chalk, charcoal, or pencil was used to make threats of violence or property destruction. The Black Hand was most prevalent in the early 20th century, particularly in New York City and Chicago. However, the Black Hand has been defunct for many decades, and there are no known Black Hand gangs operating today.
